The ladies at our church meet once a month on Friday night and pray. This past Friday, April 30, 2010, we met and had a very good prayer meeting.

I was on the way to take a friend home from the prayer meeting and looked up in the sky. I could not believe what I was seeing.

There was a huge angel in the sky. I could see every detail of the wings and the garment it had on. It took my breath away and everything just feel away and I felt such overwhelming peace. It lifted it's head and looked at me, then it lowered it's head and went back to a bowed position.

My friend could only see one side of it. I went back to the church and took two more friends over to where I saw the angel and they could only see one side of it.

I am the only one that saw it face to face. This happened about 11:03 at night.

At 3 am my father called my house and stated that he was in a dead sleep when all of a sudden, he sat straight up in bed and heard me calling his name. He had to call to make sure I was ok. I told him that I was ok and that I had seen an angel. I feel back to sleep holding the telephone.

It was one of the most restful nights of sleep that I have had in about five years.
