Face of the Lord

A friend and I had gone to pray healing over a teenager that had been in a terrible car wreck several days prior. The moment we walked in the room and started praying, we could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. A few days later, the young man passed away. We just kept believing that he was going to make it, but he didnÕt. We know that our prayers were for a reason, and that God sent us to witness to that family. After the funeral, I needed a little alone quiet time with the Lord, to just try and talk with Him, so that I could somehow understand why the young man had to pass on.

I was driving along a country road, and I was praying for the Lord to help me find a quiet and sanctified spot to just sit quietly and pray to Him,,,and moments later in front of my face was a little country church. It was on a Saturday, so nobody was there. I pulled into the parking lot, got out of the car, took my bible and just sat down on the ground. I just broke down crying and praying for answers, and to know that what we did for Him WAS for a reason. A few moments later, I turned to the book of Job in my bible, and started reading the part where Job said he looked up towards the sky and saw the Lord.

I looked up as I continued to pray, and I KID YOU NOT, I SAW the clouds form into the face of Jesus. I saw His hair, His nose, His eyes, His beard! I continued to pray as I watched this miracle, and at that moment I felt complete and total peace come over me, like a warm embrace. At that moment, I understood that our mission to pray for that boy, was not only to witness to the family, but for him to be at peace with the Lord before he went on the Heaven. IÕll never forget that experience for as long as I live.
